- Short sales appear on your credit report as "pre-foreclosure in redemption", not as "debt discharged due to foreclosure"
- Less impact on your credit score
- All mortgage debt is fully discharged

The difference between an Idaho Short Sale and a Foreclosure
|
|
An Idaho Home Foreclosure results in the bank taking back your house. The consequenses are not only losing your home- the lender can also file a judgement against you for the arreages plus any costs for them to hold an Idaho Home Foreclosure Auction. This process is called a Deficiancy Judgement.
Your credit can be adversely effected for long periods if you chose to allow your home to be foreclosed on as well. Future lenders will view your foreclosure and place judgement against you making it very difficult to obtain any kind of new credit, including car loans, credit cards, or even to rent a home!
There are Absolutely NO Advantages with having a Foreclosure!
